LDS Preparation Store

I like the LDS site (Church of Latter Day Saints), that’s why I’ve included it.  They even have a download for a free Preparedness Manual, which has excellent material for emergency preparations. I’ve included the download here to make it easier for you:

 LDS Preparedness Manual Download

This manual is produced and by The Church of Latter Day Saints.  At 222 pages it has a lot of information, so if you plan to print it out you might want to print it out double sided to save on paper. Keep in mind that this material is from The Church of Latter Day Saints so there is some religious text. I had no problem with that but it might bother others, just remember that its free and it took them a lot of work to put together. THE LDS have been prepping for a long time so they are very good at it.

They also sell Prepper survival items and I’ve included their store below:

  1. I downloaded this manual a while ago and had it printed on double side paper at Staples and put in a binder. It has a wealth of information that is free for you to download. There is no reason not to do this. Get over your religious heebee geebees and look at this material. It may save your family…..

  2. I’ve got understand some good products right here. Definitely price tag bookmarking for returning to. My spouse and i big surprise that the ton test you determine to produce such a wonderful insightful internet site.

  3. I am a member of the LDS Church and the full name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (some have called us Mormons but that is not the name of the Church). So any religious material in this manual is Christian in nature.

So if you are offended by Christianity or LDS doctrine then you need to take a huge dose of get-over-yourself and move on. We don’t bite. Well maybe those Westboro Baptists might bite but they are a very small group of people who are not affiliated with the Baptist Church or John the Baptist in any way. Just like the LDS Church is not affiliated with the FLDS polygamists in any way.

You don’t have to be a Mormon to buy food storage items from the LDS Church. The LDS Church has set up a web site for becoming self reliant at http://www.providentliving.org. You can also find if there is a Home Storage Center in your area. This is not an endorsement of my religion, I am just trying to be helpful by providing more information on preparedness.
